From 20 to 22 May, Merello was present at Vitafoods Europe 2025, the world’s leading event for the nutraceutical sector, held at Fira Barcelona Gran Via. The trade show brought together professionals from across the entire supply chain of supplements, functional ingredients and health and nutrition products, becoming a key hub for discovering innovations and generating new business opportunities.
At Hall 4 – Stand 4A76, we presented our packaging solutions aimed at manufacturers seeking efficiency, flexibility and high quality in the packaging of nutraceutical products.

Vitafoods Europe: a key meeting point for the nutraceutical industry
Vitafoods Europe has established itself as the global benchmark trade fair for nutraceuticals, bringing together manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, finished product brands and service and equipment companies in a single venue.
Over the three days of the event, attendees were able to:

Capping machine for nutraceutical containers
Our industrial capping machine is designed to ensure precise, repeatable and secure closing of containers for food supplements and health products:
- Torque control to prevent over-tightening or insufficient closing.
- Adaptable to different types of containers and caps (screw caps, snap-on caps, special formats).
- Easy integration into existing filling and labelling lines.
This equipment is particularly suitable for manufacturers of syrups, liquid solutions, functional shots or concentrates, where closure quality is key to product safety and perception.
Multiformat vertical Doypack packaging machine
The second major highlight at the stand was our vertical packaging machine specialised in Doypack bags, configured as a multiformat solution:
- Quick format changeover to produce, in addition to Doypack, other types of bags according to product and brand needs.
- Ability to work with different films and material structures, including options focused on sustainability.
- Integration of systems such as zipper, eurohole or different types of spout, depending on the pack design.
